In relation to a Standard Business Sponsorship (so called "457 sponsorship"), employers and migration agents must be cautious to offer positions for the potential applicants with 457 sponsorship visa as Customer Service Managers(ANZSCO 149212) or Sales and Marketing Managers(ANZSCO 131112) or Marketing Specialists(ANZSCO 225113). We've seen lots of failure of 457 nominations due to improper job descriptions and inconsistency between the nature of business and the actual duties & responsibilities of those positions.

For example, nominators or migration agents with no HR experience in a big organization are not likely fully understand the actual meaning of ANZSCO, so usually have nominated 457 visa applicants as those occupations even in small retail shops or Asian groceries. Those shops do not require a Customer Service Manager (a Call centre manager), nor Sales and marketing managers. Apart from many approaches in terms of an organizational behaviour, it is common sense in order to form a managerial position that requires at least 2 or 3 team members or will have team members very soon with financial capability.

If your sponsors or migration agents recommend you to be nominated those positions, your companies would demonstrate that the vacancies are very genuine in terms of financial aspects as well as organizational structure.
