Someone said I don't need a migration agent when it comes to applying for a visa because I am a native English speaker. Whenever we heard of this story, we laughed a lot and we believe they might have a valuable lesson when they screw their cases up. Here is a basic and silly case when the applicant destroyed the case and spent money and time.
When you're applying for subclass 189 (Skilled Independent), your skills must be assessed by a relevant assessing authority at time of invitation from the department. This provision as to this skill assessment has been stipulated in Reg. 189.212(1).
The applicant just expressed his interest to the department without skill assessment and finally his case has been rejected due to that reason. Please find the attached AAT decision and Don't risk your life just because of migration agent fees.
