457/ENS/RSMS | Current 457 visa processing time

Usually a 457 visa processing time was less than 2 weeks in 2013 and 2014. However, its standard processing time is approximately 40 working days in these days due to the "Genuine Position" concerns.

Yesterday, the department sent a 457 news letter to all agents, with various promises that they will streamline the process and provide more detailed and structured guideline to agents how to meet a "Genuine Position Requirement".

Hopefully, they will maintain consistency when making a decision and the processing time will be reduced significantly to save a small business where this Government's continuously broadcasting over this election campaign. (Personally, this government actually destroyed small businesses in terms of 457 visa)
