ETC | [CAUTION] Passenger card

Don't underestimate the importance of incoming/ outgoing passenger card when traveling Australia. ​Recently, a subclass 186 holder(Australian permanent resident)'s visa has been cancelled due to this passenger card. While traveling his country, he wrote down his another occupation on the passenger card and the department cancelled his subclass 186 visa based on the applicant has provided incorrect information that was different from the occupation given in the visa application.

This case provides a very important warning to migration agents to reminder clients/general public to be extremely careful when filling passenger cards out and do not treat them as piece of paper that would be thrown away to a garbage can.
