The Department of Jobs and Small Business has now published a Traffic Light Bulletin on proposed changes to occupations listed on the Short-Term Skilled Occupation List, the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List and the Regional Occupation List. These lists underpin a range of employer-sponsored, points-tested and state-nominated visa programs.
The Traffic Light Bulletin is for consultation purposes only. It does not represent a decision of Government.
The public consultation period is now open until 20 June 2018.
If an occupation does not appear on the Traffic Light Bulletin then no change is proposed to the status of that occupation. Stakeholders are encouraged to make a submission in relation to any occupation they are interested in, even if no change is flagged at this time.
The Government will take into account all stakeholder feedback. To provide a submission, please visit the Department’s website.
